Women to Watch is an exhibition program, held every two to three years, developed specifically for the National Museum of Women in the Arts national and international outreach committees. Each of these exhibitions features emerging and underrepresented women artists from the states and countries in which the museum has outreach committees. The 2018 exhibition theme is Heavy Metal.

The New Mexico Committee submitted the work of five New Mexico women artists, who were selected by Laura Addison and Jackie M. They are (click on name to learn about the artist)

Please join us for a fascinating panel discussion, moderated by Laura Addison. The artists will show images of their work, discuss their inspiration and process, and answer your questions. All proceeds from this event will be used to send one of these incredible artists and her work to the Museum's exhibition Heavy Metal/Women to Watch 2018, opening June 2018 in Washington DC.
